Research Activity

Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are widely diverse molecules involved in all aspects of gene expression. Our laboratory is interested in different areas of the RNA world, from artificial catalytic RNAs to regulatory RNAs in bacteria, plants and animals. We are also interested in RNA processing events such as splicing and polyadenylation. We develop bioinformatics tools for ncRNA identification in genomic sequences and for analyzing their function.
